FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the qualities to look for in a Tagalog interpreter?

An interpreter has to have a more than average grasp of Tagalog and English. Fluency is the key. The interpreter must keep abreast of the latest developments in the interpreting profession, the English language and the Tagalog language. Part of these is the continuing education required for certified court interpreters as mandated by the Judicial Council of California.
